Over 200 student journalists from across Orange County competed in the county write-off competition, showcasing their talents everything from newspaper photography to yearbook layout on Saturday, Feb 22nd.

The numbers…

• 276 newspaper and yearbook students competed in the on-the-spot competition.
• Newspaper: 17 schools
• Yearbook: 7 schools
• Approximately 75 students submitted entries to the broadcast send-in contest.
• Broadcast: 6 schools
• 24 professional judges
